Dear Anne, I just stumbled across your message on the Westfield website. It is nice to hear of your connection. I too am descended from the same Barhams you mention. I am related through Arthur & Charlotte's daughter Rosa (born 1857) who married my ggfather Thomas Robert FULLER. Thomas & Rosa lived at Pattleton's Farm in Westfield until moving north to Bodiam, then Tonbridge. I wonder where you fit in? I've been researching my family history and discovered my great great great grandparents Edmund Barham who was married to Philadelphia Stunt. They lived at Doleham farm where he was the farmer. Their children were also farmers there and at Knights farm. If anyone has any information about them I would be grateful to hear from you. Edmund was born in 1791 and died in 1866. His wife was born in 1797 and died in 1878. They had six children and I'm decended from their son Arthur. Anne Phillips |
